There have been so many major news stories over the past few weeks, and now that I have started uni again I can't write detailed posts about them all without them being out of date by the time they're published, sooo...

 I thought it may be useful to do short summaries of some of these stories every so often, and provide a starting point for further investigation.

The Libor-Fixing Scandal

I was present for many discussions about the LIBOR fixing scandal towards the end of last year, but to be honest, much of the conversation flew straight over my head. I've compiled an explanation of what Libor is and what the scandal was about using information from all the sites I found helpful.
